Line spacing problem

I am having a line spacing issue. The bottom line of text in the caption of my daily email always sits a little bit too low (see screen grab here: http://blog.aflcio.org/wp-content/uploads/2010/05/line_spacing_issue.jpg). I've checked the code several times and can't find anything wrong. Can anyone help? Thanks very much.

The link above is picking up the parenthesis -- here's the correct URL:

John,  We won't be able to trouble shoot that from an image.  Send me an email with the page and I'll take a look at it.

Thanks, Christian!

For anyone with a similar problem: Christian emailed me the solution. I had a period sitting outside my closing </span> tags that were enclosing the caption -- for whatever reason that was throwing the line spacing off. I put the period back inside the span tags and it's now showing up properly.

Basically the font-size being applied to the span was different then the font-size being applied to what was outside that span.  Because the period was outside the span it had the different font-size.  The browser has to use a whatever the largest text in the line is to determine line-height.  The period was bigger then the rest and caused the gap.
